Jaundice yellowish of the skin and eyes due to deposition of bilirubin (a
yellow bile pigment in the subcutaneous fat layer usually from a liver disease.
Causes: Immature liver in new born, bile duct
blockage due to gall stones, hepatitis virus, malaria parasite infections
.excessive drinking damages the liver.
Symptoms: yellow skin and eyes. Dark yellow
urine, pale stools, high fever, severs weakness.
Treatment: consult a doctor, Take complete rest,
Get the blood test done, surgery clear bile duct blockage, Phototherapy in
newborns, Breast feed the baby regularly.
Care &prevention: Take curd rice water, dale, fresh
fruits their juices, maintain strict diet control.
Don’t eat fat
rich and fried foods, take hepatitis vaccination, spray insecticides, to
prevent mosquito breeding, do not smoke or drink.
